Last week, Cognizant’s Euan Davis delivered a speech to about 200 Swedish CIOs and IT decision-makers at the Radar Ecosystems event entitled "Integrate 2 Innovate" in Stockholm. Davis manages Cognizant’s Future of Work think tank. We interviewed Davis regarding ways in which Nordic companies and organizations can benefit from co-creation processes in light of increasing volumes of digital data associated with a skyrocketing human population, many spheres of life machines, and other gadgets.

The next predicted big trend in wearables will be inconspicuous headphones that will (i) enable analysis of what users hear in real time, (ii) perform searches, and (iii) almost immediately play the usable data directly into the user's ear (thanks to wireless connectivity, audio recording capabilities, and advanced processors). According to Nick Hunn, an expert at WiFore Consulting, the hearables market will be worth USD 5 billion already in 2018.

As a group, banks in Sweden lost significant customer confidence between 2013 and 2012—a full 9 points on the confidence index.
